Effective 13 January 2011 at 2100z KIND will lose its major status and become an unrestricted field while KCVG returns to major status and becomes restricted to those who have received the appropriate training and checkout.
All controllers may control positions appropriate to their rating at KIND effective immediately.
Any controller who has received either pre or post GRP2 training and checkouts at KCVG is authorized to control the appropriate positions to their checkout at KCVG effective the above time. All others must schedule time with an instructor or mentor to receive the appropriate training.
At this time the roster accurately reflects those controllers with the appropriate training as endorsed to control at KCVG on various positions. If a controller believes that this is inaccurate it is their responsibility to contact either the ATM or TA to resolve the situation. The roster on the vZID website is the official source for information on current major field endorsements and will be used by supervisors while enforcing the GRP and its provisions. Any controller not listed as endorsed to control at KCVG found controlling may be subject to enforcement action by network supervisors up to and including suspension from the network.
